Bee-come A 2024 NPW Festival Sponsor

National Pollinator Week 2024 will be here before you know it, and with it our annual celebration of pollinators right here in Decatur. As designated by the U.S. Congress, National Pollinator Week is observed the third week of June. As always, Bee City USA®-Decatur, GA (a.k.a. "Beecatur") will mark the week with a free, fun public festival on the downtown square promoting an array of environmental organizations.

Your support of our National Pollinator Week programming helps us to plan, promote and put on our annual festival! In addition to our gratitude, Beecatur thanks supporters by placing company logos on our website, posts via our social media channels, and on promotional event banners and signage.

Bee City USA-Decatur, GA (a.k.a. "Beecatur") works throughout the Decatur community to raise awareness about the important roles bees and other pollinators play in our shared ecosystem. We do this through educational programming presented in the city schools and the wider community, the creation of dedicated pollinator habitat, and advocacy on behalf of pollinator species with city officials and other decision makers.

Bee City USA® ( is an initiative of the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation (, an international nonprofit organization that protects wildlife through the conservation of invertebrates and their habitats. The Bee City USA program endorses a set of commitments, defined via city resolution, for creating sustainable habitats for pollinators, which are vital to feeding our planet.
